Daffodils are the heralds of spring, and the national flower of Wales. Now you can enjoy them year round! I painted this Gourmet Lollipop for a friend who was very patient. I hope it was worth the wait! A sunny daffodil on a ultra deep blue sky graces the top of the whorl. The sides and spindle are decorated with yellow tulips in a folk art style on a much deeper ultra blue background. Ultra blue is a transparent color, like a glaze. It is painted over white, so when you take it out in the sunshine it glows with an inner light! Really!

These Gourmet Lollipops are 6 inches long, have a 2 inch diameter whorl, and weigh about an ounce.

The Daffodil comes only as a handspindle.
